About This Course

Apiculture is the practice of beekeeping, which involves the management of honeybee colonies. Beekeepers, also known as apiarists, maintain beehives to collect various products bees produce, such as honey, beeswax, propolis, pollen, and royal jelly. Apiculture can be practiced for various purposes, including honey production, crop pollination, and other bee-related products. It requires knowledge of bee biology, behavior, and hive management techniques.

The course includes modules on introduction, techniques, products, and economics of Apiculture. The course includes on-field discussion with " Apiculturist of Goa" Mr Melwyn DSouza.
